Tedd Syao, CFA, FRM

Tedd Syao, CFA, FRM, is the Founder and CEO of MicroSLA Inc. since October 2012, specializing in high-resolution stereolithographic 3D printing for microfabrications. Prior to this, Tedd served as Vice President of Quantitative Investment at Citi Private Bank from May 2007 to April 2012, where analytical investment solutions were provided to high net worth clients. Tedd was also an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Institute of Photonics at National Tsing Hua University from January 2003 to February 2006. Earlier roles include Chief Technology Officer at Cito Optronics, focusing on semiconductor lasers from January 2001 to December 2002, and a Member of Technical Staff at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs from July 1997 to February 2000, where developments in high-speed electroabsorption modulated DFB lasers for telecom occurred. Tedd holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Michigan and a Master's degree from Northwestern University.
