Carl Bateson

Carl Bateson is a highly experienced software architect and developer with a robust background in backend-focused software development and architectural planning. Currently serving as a Software Architect at Kudos® since November 2022, Carl is involved in developing microservices and an event-driven architecture while also contributing to an in-house framework for a new application. As a member of the Advisory Board at Six Factor, Carl provides insights on GIS operations and location-based services, and previously held the position of Chief Software Architect for the Proximity product. With a career spanning over 15 years, Carl has also held leadership roles at Sonar CX, NACBio, and Cisco, focusing on technical strategy, backend service development, and software quality assurance. Credentials include extensive knowledge of NodeJS, Typescript, AWS, and various database technologies, alongside contributions to startups and established organizations alike.
