Bill Rooney

Bill Rooney has over four decades of experience in the transportation and logistics industry, currently serving as Vice President of Strategic Development and Vice President of Trade Management for North America at Kuehne & Nagel since October 2011. Prior roles include Partner at Chassis Partners LLC, President of Hanjin Shipping America, Senior Vice President of Service Delivery at CMA CGM, and Vice President of Ocean Services at GT Nexus. Bill Rooney's career began at Sea-Land Service, where various positions were held, including Vice President of Shipment Management and Vice President of Marketing for the Atlantic Division. Bill Rooney's earlier experience includes serving as an Economic Analyst with the US Department of Transportation. Educationally, Bill Rooney holds a Master's degree in Economics from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Marist College.
