Dr. Dirk-Sören Lühmann

Dr. Dirk-Sören Lühmann is a seasoned professional in data science and machine learning, currently serving as Product/Team Lead Data Science at Kühne + Nagel (AG & Co.) KG since January 2020, where leadership of the Data Science Team for Sea, Air, and Overland Logistics is a key responsibility. Prior experience includes roles at Blue Yonder from 2016 to 2019 as Enterprise Technical Architect and Project Lead & Data Scientist, focusing on machine learning algorithms, predictive analytics, and cloud computing. Academic credentials include a Habilitation in Computational Physics and a PhD in Theoretical Solid-State Physics from the University of Hamburg, complementing a strong foundation in physics obtained during studies at Uppsala University and the University of Hamburg.
