Julie Neilsen

Julie Neilsen is an experienced professional in the fashion industry, currently serving as an Assistant Technical Designer at KUIU since December 2022, where responsibilities include measuring and evaluating sample constructions and scheduling fit sessions. Prior to this, Julie worked at Boot Barn as an Assistant Designer and Product Manager for Accessories, overseeing the product development process for various accessory styles and collaborating with multiple factories to ensure quality management. Additional experience includes roles at 24 Seven Inc., Colosseum Athletics, and VOLCOM, where Julie contributed to tech pack creation, sample management, and collaboration with global designers. Julie earned a BA in Textile and Clothing from California State University, Long Beach, and has a strong foundation in pattern making and technical design from previous positions.
