Tan Kai Yang

Tan Kai Yang is a Senior Procurement Engineer at Kulicke & Soffa since October 2024, focusing on new product sourcing and management, research and analysis, and optimizing operational activities for new product introduction. Prior to this role, Tan served as an Assembly Capital Supplier Manager at Micron Technology from July 2018 to January 2024, overseeing procurement processes, global market surveys, and on-time delivery metrics, as well as leading negotiations for site projects. Tan also worked as a Senior Equipment Engineer at Micron Technology, where responsibilities included equipment performance management and installation coordination. Earlier experience includes a Reliability Intern Engineer role at NatSteel Holdings Pte Ltd and serving as a Commanding Officer Personal Assistant in the Singapore Army. Tan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, as well as additional education from Hanyang University and Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
