Juliana Solheid

Juliana Solheid is an experienced Application Engineer at 3D Systems Corporation since May 2021, previously serving as a Research Assistant at the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie from June 2017 to May 2021 while pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. At KIT, Juliana focused on laser materials processing, materials characterization, and the supervision of Master's students, alongside developing a dissertation on laser post-processing of additively manufactured metallic parts. Additionally, Juliana worked as a Visiting Researcher at 3D Systems Corporation in 2019, where responsibilities included parameter optimization for 3D printing Maraging steel and conducting metallographic analysis. Earlier experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Intern position at Furnas, where machine maintenance support and procurement tasks were performed. Juliana holds a Doctor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, a Master of Science from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, and a Bachelor's degree from UNIOESTE.
