Adrià Huguet-Ferran

Adrià Huguet-Ferran PhD has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, they worked as a Software Developer at NORMAWIND, where they developed front-end and back-end systems for automated data consulting and predictive electricity price. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Researcher PhD Candidate at Universitat de Barcelona, specializing in the development of smart lighting systems focusing on Human Centric Lighting solutions. In 2015, they became a Master's degree professor at UNIBA - Centro Universitario Internacional de Barcelona, where they also served as the coordinator of Efficient and Intelligent Lighting Systems. Throughout this role, they taught and supervised over 1000 students and directed 10 Master Thesis projects. In 2017, Adrià founded Kumux and took on the role of Founder & CTO. Kumux is a software platform that focuses on studying, calculating, and optimizing light quality, specifically in the context of Human Centric Lighting solutions.

Adrià Huguet-Ferran obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universitat de Barcelona, with an end year in 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Universitat de Barcelona in 2011 and a Master's degree in Renewable and Sustainable Energy, also from Universitat de Barcelona, with an end year in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Adrià Huguet-Ferran has obtained several certifications in various fields. These include a Professional Certificate Course in Lighting Design from Lighting Research Center, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in December 2020, an Introduction to Machine Learning with TensorFlow Nanodegree from Udacity in April 2020, and a Transversal Competences - Industrial Doctorate Program from Knowledge Innovation Market (KIM) in October 2019.

Adrià has also completed several other certifications such as Patentability requirements at the EPO, Search reports and written opinions, and Think patents: the value of patent documentation for innovation and research, all from the European Patent Office in April 2019. Some of their other certifications include Preacceleration Program - Dynamization of entrepreneurial projects from Barcelona Activa in February 2018 and Learn KiCad. Printed Circuit Board Design from Udemy in October 2015.
