Dereje Alemu Shiferaw

Dereje Alemu Shiferaw is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in analysis, research, and economics. Serving as the Director of Analysis and Research at Kunde & Co since September 2015, Dereje also held roles as Senior Analyst and Quantitative Market Analyst. Additionally, Dereje has been a freelance commercial pilot and an Economics/Business Researcher, contributing to significant projects related to agricultural development and water resource strategies. From 2009 to 2013, Dereje owned and managed Dereje Alemu Enterprises, focusing on environmentally friendly recovery of precious metals and participating in water supply and mining consultancy in Ethiopia and South Sudan. Earlier experience includes working as a Junior Economist at the UNDP Ethiopia Country Office from 2006 to 2008. Dereje holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Unity University in Addis Ababa.
