Pasi Tuunanen

Pasi Tuunanen is a highly experienced Medical Physicist currently serving at Kuopio University Hospital (KUH) since January 2016, where Pasi holds the title of Medical Physicist and previously worked as an Associate Medical Physicist. Prior experience includes roles at Joensuun Keskussairaala and multiple positions at Kuopio University Hospital in various capacities. Pasi also led MRI efforts as the Head of MRI at Charles River Discovery Research Services and served as an MRI researcher in the same organization. Earlier research activities were conducted at the A. I. Virtanen Institute for Molecular Sciences and the University of Manchester, where Pasi held various research roles. Pasi earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Physics from the University of Eastern Finland between 2003 and 2007.
