John Tolbert

John Tolbert has significant experience in the field of cybersecurity and identity and access management. John currently serves as the Director of Cybersecurity Research at KuppingerCole Analysts AG, where they lead a team of analysts, directs research strategy, and consults with various organizations on cybersecurity matters. Prior to this role, they worked as a Vice President of Cybersecurity at Queralt Inc, where they developed cutting-edge security solutions for government and commercial customers. John also worked as a Cyber Security Architect at Boeing, where they developed cybersecurity and data protection strategies and implemented identity federation systems. John is an internationally recognized expert in the field and has published research on various topics, including attack surface management, fraud reduction intelligence platforms, endpoint security, and mobile security.

John Tolbert attended the University of Louisville, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. In 2008, they obtained a certification as a Certified Enterprise Architect from Carnegie Mellon University.
