Gregory D. Gallinat has a long and varied career in the engineering and technology fields. Gregory D. began their career in 1981 as a Lead Engineer at HP. In 1982, they moved to Hughes Aircraft Company as an Antenna Production Engineer. In 2010, they became Global Manager - Consumer Electronics at Excelitas Technologies. From 2000 to 2021, they have invested in, served as an executive advisor, and been an early member of various startups, with two IPO exits (Omnivision, Radius). In 2021, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Kura Technologies, where they are responsible for building 150° field of view, 95% transparency, high brightness, and eyeglasses form factor eyepieces AR glasses with integrated tracking, from the display, silicon photonics design and integration, customized mixed-signal ASICs, optics, system, algorithm, to mass manufacturing procedures, with customizable software applications and computer vision SDK for application developments.
Gregory D. Gallinat received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Michigan between 1976 and 1981. Gregory D. then went on to receive their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business between 1984 and 1987.
