Christian Cuenca

Christian Cuenca has a strong background in the field of information security. Christian is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Kushki, a position they have held since October 2019. Prior to their current role, Cuenca worked as an Especialista en Seguridad de la Información at Cooperativa Jep from June 2015 to September 2019. Christian also served as an Analista de Seguridad de la Información at Mutualista Azuay from August 2014 to June 2015, and at Banco del Austro from November 2012 to August 2014. Cuenca's work experience also includes a role as a Técnico en Telecomunicaciones at Grupo TVCable from January 2011 to November 2012.

Christian Cuenca holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR), which they obtained between 2023 and 2024. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Business Information Security from the Universitat de Barcelona in 2018-2019. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the Universidad Católica de Cuenca, which they earned between 2008 and 2012. In addition to their formal education, Christian has also obtained certifications in "La escucha activa" from LinkedIn and "Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP)" and "PCI Internal Security Assessor (ISA)" from the PCI Security Standards Council.
