Qasim Suhail

Qasim Suhail is an experienced engineer currently working at kW Engineering since May 2021. Previous professional roles include sustainability engineering intern at Ettinger Engineering Associates, where Qasim reviewed construction drawings for LEED compliance, and project engineering intern at New York City Transit, focusing on upgrading technology for energy efficiency. Additional internships included building systems engineering at Steven Winter Associates and involvement in the Seawater Greenhouse Project at The City College of New York, which aimed to provide sustainable solutions for Colombian communities. As a design engineer with Engineers Without Borders USA, Qasim contributed to a drainage system design for a fishing pond in Uganda. Qasim holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Building Technologies and Energy from The City College of New York and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics with a minor in Philosophy from Fordham University.
