Monica Spivey

Monica Spivey has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Monica is currently serving as the Director of Accounting at KW Specialty Insurance Company since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Vice President - Account Manager at Marsh from November 2021 to February 2022. From 2017 to 2021, Monica took a sabbatical from work and pursued personal fitness goals while also working as a general contractor for home and landscape renovations. Before their sabbatical, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Berkley Aspire and also served on the senior management team of Nautilus Insurance Group in 2017. Monica's career at Nautilus Insurance Group began in 1987, where they held various roles such as Interim CFO, Vice President Finance & Accounting, Assistant Vice President - Finance & Accounting, Assistant Controller / Controller, and Staff Accountant/ Senior Accountant. Monica also worked as a Full Charge Bookkeeper and Treasurer at BartsWorks Custom Fabrication from 2003 to 2014. Additionally, they have experience as an Accounting Supervisor at Outdoor Systems Advertising and as an Audit Staff at KPMG Audit.

Monica Spivey obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Northern Arizona University, where they studied from 1980 to 1984.
