Yinka Olayanju has over 20 years of experience in logistics and operations. In 1998, they began their career as a Logistics Officer at Aero Contractors of Nigeria Ltd, where they were responsible for evaluating the serviceability of aircraft parts and tools and monitoring aircraft parts inventory. In 2002, they moved to Zain as a Logistics Specialist, managing the rolling-out of network equipment of about $250 million inventory. In 2006, they joined Airtel Nigeria as an Inventory Specialist, supervising the sales ordering process and managing the inventory of stocks. In 2012, they became an Operations Manager at AcornOaks Ventures, where they were responsible for business development, consulting, tendering, project and contract administration for Warehousing and Inventory management projects. In 2014, they joined Konga Online Shopping Ltd as VP of Supply Chain & Franchise Management, where they designed and implemented business strategies, plans and procedures. Yinka was also VP of Logistics Operations and Head of Outsourced Fulfillment. In 2018, they joined SmartPost (Subsidary of GMC-Logistics) as Chief Operations Officer, designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures. Yinka also co-founded Africa Delivery Technologies, where they served as Co-founder & Chief Operating Officer, architecting strategy and leading implementation across sales, service, in country supply chain, IT, and purchasing.
Yinka Olayanju began their educational journey in 1990, when they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University. In 2004 and 2005, they continued their studies at the same institution, earning a Post Graduate Diploma in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. In 2008, they obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Blekinge Tekniska Högskola in Sweden. That same year, they also became a Certified Prince 2 Practitioner from APMG-International.
