Nathan Nakama

Nathan Nakama is an experienced media professional currently serving as Executive Producer at NEWS 7 KWWL since September 2023, where significant contributions include facilitating a transition to new broadcasting systems and launching a newscast. Previously, Nathan held the position of Executive Producer at 6 NEWS WOWT OMAHA from July 2021 to August 2023, overseeing award-winning evening newscasts and coordinating special coverage. Nathan also served as Assistant News Director at KTTC NBC 10 from October 2017 to July 2021, managing newsroom operations and election coverage. Earlier roles include Executive Producer at KHON2 News, Newscast Producer at KITV4 Island News, Associate Producer at WISN-TV, and Camera Operator at Canterbury Park. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from St. Cloud State University.
