Mark Montgomery's work experience includes founding and serving as the Chairman & CEO at KYield, Inc. from May 2002 to present. Mark developed the KYield operating system based on a mathematical theorem they developed in 1997.
Mark also founded and served as the Managing Partner at Initium Venture Capital from January 2002 to December 2007. Initium Venture Capital focused on investing in advanced technology in software, semiconductors, life sciences, and renewable energy.
Mark Montgomery founded and operated GWIN (Global Web Interactive Network), a global network with a virtual incubator from January 1995 to February 2002. GWIN was recognized as a pioneer in knowledge systems and created and operated multiple market leaders, including a small business learning network and a learning/social network for global thought leaders.
Prior to GWIN, Mark Montgomery worked as a Senior Consultant and Managing Partner at an Independent Consulting Firm from March 1985 to January 1995. Mark also served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Ferryman Enterprises from January 1991 to January 1992 and as the International Sales Director at Nendel's Corporation from January 1989 to January 1990.
Before starting their career in consulting and entrepreneurship, Mark Montgomery and their wife co-owned and operated the Edel Haus Inn, a historic hotel and restaurant in Leavenworth, WA, from April 1982 to November 1987.
Mark Montgomery obtained a Global Leader Certificate in International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 2004. Earlier, they pursued Creative Writing and Real Estate studies at Tacoma Community College from 1978 to 1979. In 1977, they graduated from Curtis Senior High School with a general degree.
