Joyoti Dey has a diverse work experience in the field of translational medicine and oncology research. Joyoti is currently working at Kymera Therapeutics as the Director of Translational Medicine. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Director of Translational Medicine at the same company.
Before joining Kymera Therapeutics, Joyoti worked at Presage Biosciences, Inc. as the Director of Translational Research, where they contributed to the development of the company's innovative precision oncology platform. Joyoti also led multiple research alliances with pharmaceutical and biotech partners to achieve key milestones in the development of immunotherapy therapeutics, ADCs, novel biologics, and small molecule drugs.
Joyoti's research career began at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Joyoti then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Fred Hutch, where they made significant contributions to the field of medulloblastoma research and collaborated with other research institutes.
Prior to their research career, Joyoti gained experience as a Research Assistant at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and as a Summer Intern at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
Throughout their career, Joyoti has published and presented their research findings at conferences and holds several patents related to their work.
Joyoti Dey earned a BSc degree in Physiology Honors from Presidency College, University of Calcutta, graduating with First Class honors, between 1998 and 2001. Joyoti then pursued an MPH degree in Epidemiology (Public Health) at Emory University from 2004 to 2006. Later, from 2006 to 2012, Joyoti completed their education by obtaining a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology/Neuro-oncology at the University of Washington.
