Shareef Omar

Shareef Omar is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in labor and employment law. Currently serving as Employment Counsel at KYOCERA Document Solutions America, Inc. since September 2022, Shareef has previously held positions as Labor and Employment Counsel at Tata Consultancy Services and Labor & Employment Associate at Littler. Shareef's background includes serving as Deputy Attorney General for Labor & Employee Relations in the State of New Jersey Office of the Attorney General and as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Lisa Rose in the Superior Court of New Jersey. Shareef also contributed as Symposium Editor for the Seton Hall Legislative Journal and held various legal internships, including roles at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Federal Public Defender. Shareef holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Seton Hall University School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Rutgers University.
