Sammer Elkhateeb MAPL, CPRSE-FE has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 2015, Sammer worked as a Low Voltage Technician at ISX until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, Sammer served as the Manager of Operations at Groveland Confections. Following this, from 2018 until 2020, Sammer worked as a Motivational Speaker at Motivational Consulting Inc. In 2020, Sammer began working as a Group Facilitator at Sammer Elkhateeb LLC and Alliance Wellness Clinic. They also held the role of Group Facilitator at Wellness in the Woods from 2020 to 2021.

In 2022, Sammer worked as a Government Relations Specialist at Metropolitan State University, where they managed strategic relationships and communication with legislative stakeholders. In 2023, Sammer served as a Lead Trainer and Peer Recovery Specialist at Refocus Recovery, where they provided training and support to individuals in their recovery journey. Additionally, they worked as a Partnership Engagement Fund Grant Reviewer at the City of Minneapolis, evaluating grant applications and engaging in partnerships. Lastly, Sammer held the position of Member of the Board of Directors at Twin Cities Recovery Project.

Sammer Elkhateeb MAPL, CPRSE-FE has a diverse education history and has obtained several certifications. From 2020 to 2022, Sammer attended Metro State University where they earned a Masters of Advocacy and Political Leadership with a focus on Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2020, Sammer also attended Metro State University and earned a Bachelor of Independent Studies in Recovery Advocacy and Nonprofit Management.

Additionally, Sammer obtained an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Minneapolis College, from 2006 to 2008.

In terms of certifications, Sammer has obtained the following:

- Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in November 2022.

- Certified Prevention Specialist (Addictions) from the Minnesota Certification Board in May 2020.

- Facilitating Personal Restoration from the Minnesota Second Chance Coalition in February 2020.

- Restorative Justice from the Minnesota Second Chance Coalition in February 2020.

- Motivational Interviewing from the Minnesota Recovery Connection in October 2018.

- Peer Recovery from the Minnesota Certification Board in July 2018.

- Advanced certification from Landmark in October 2017.
