Mr. Weiser is an Operating Partner at L Catterton. Prior to joining, he was Chief Marketing Officer of Shopify (NYSE: SHOP), where he oversaw the global marketing organization, including Growth, Brand & Communications, Product Marketing, Strategy & Operations, and Creative teams, tripling revenue to $1.6B and quadrupling market cap to $60B in two years.

Previously, Mr. Weiser served as Chief Marketing Officer of Shutterstock, Inc. (NYSE: SSTK) and held multiple senior level positions in marketing, strategy and analytics at Beachbody LLC (creators of P90X and Shakeology), helping to grow revenue from $400M to $1.2B during his tenure. Before joining Beachbody, Mr. Weiser held strategy and analytics roles at SGN (Social Gaming Network), MySpace and Yahoo. He has served on the board for the IAB’s Mobile Marketing Center of Excellence and as an Executive-in-Residence for Bessemer Venture Partners.

Mr. Weiser’s core expertise is using data and technology to drive efficient customer acquisition and increase customer lifetime value. He believes in building strong brands to create a halo that accelerates performance marketing results. Mr. Weiser is an active angel investor and advisor to early stage technology companies, with a focus on direct-to-consumer commerce and B2B software.

Mr. Weiser earned a bachelor’s degree in English Language & Literature from Yale University and an MBA with a focus on Decision, Risk, and Operations from Columbia Business School.
