Peter Walter

Peter Walter is the current Managing Director for New York at L.E.K. Consulting. Peter has over 20 years of experience in management consulting and has worked with various clients in a wide range of industries. Prior to joining L.E.K., Peter was a Principal at AT Kearney, where they worked for nearly 10 years. While at AT Kearney, Peter also served as the Country Manager for Thailand from 2001 to 2005. Before their tenure at AT Kearney, Peter worked as a Senior Consultant for Arthur Andersen, where they focused on commercial real estate and infradtructure privatization consulting in developing markets such as Mexico, Brazil & Indonesia. Prior to Arthur Andersen, Peter worked as an Asst. Latam Program for the Center for Democracy, a policy 'think tank' focused at the time on promoting democratic institution building in Latin America, Russia and E. Europe.

Peter Walter earned their MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management with a focus in finance and marketing. Prior to that, they earned their BS in zoology from Duke University. Peter also has a diploma from Lakewood High School.

Peter Walter reports to Stuart Jackson, Global Managing Partner. They work with Jen Wu - Partner, Chicago, Justin Wang - Partner, Shanghai & Head Life Science, and Eilert Hinrichs - Partner, London.
