Jon Karp

Jon Karp is the Vice President of Human Resources for Fishman Flooring Solutions and has been with the firm since October 2007. Prior to joining the Fishman team, he served in human resource leadership positions for eight years with a global credit insurance company and a military health insurance contractor.

Jon is responsible for planning, directing and overseeing all human resource functions of the company, including organizational development, recruitment and staffing, employment law, performance management, employee relations, internal communications and compensation and benefits. He is also responsible for developing and implementing the human resources strategy for the organization and for fostering a diverse, rewarding work environment that enables all employee-owners to maximize their contributions to the business and reach their full potential.

Jon, who was born and raised in the Boston, Massachusetts area, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and earned a Master's in Business Administration from Loyola University in Baltimore. He has also been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the HR Certification Institute.

Jon and his wife, Angie, have two children and reside in Perry Hall, Maryland. Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
