Henry Barklam has extensive work experience in various roles within the tech industry. Henry started their career in 2018 as a Research Assistant at UCL. In 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer with the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program and also participated in projects related to neural networks with Duke eNable.
In 2022, Henry joined the Duke Global Neurosurgery and Neurology team as a Machine Learning Engineer and later moved on to work as a Deep Learning Researcher at the Duke General Robotics Lab. Henry also contributed to the Duke Robotics Club as part of the Computer Vision Team during this time.
In 2023, Henry will begin a role as a Software Engineer at Opto Investments, where they will apply their skills and experience in software development. Throughout their career, Henry has demonstrated expertise in software engineering, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and neural networks.
Henry Barklam attended Eton College from 2013 to 2018, where they studied Maths, Spanish, Economics, and Further Maths. From 2019 until 2023, they pursued a Triple Major at Duke University, earning Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Neuroscience. Henry also focused on Pre-Medical Studies during their time at Duke.
