Anne Marie Van Swinderen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Anne Marie is currently the Managing Director at L-IFT, where they are responsible for research design, data analysis, and publishing findings. Anne Marie oversees a team of 8 employees and is involved in acquisition and client/donor relations.

Anne Marie Van Swinderen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Development Economics and International Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1986 to 1989. Anne Marie then pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Development Policy and Practice from The Open University from 1991 to 1995. Prior to their higher education, they attended Europese School Brussel I from 1976 to 1982, and VCL from 1982 to 1984. In addition, they are scheduled to attend the Global Social and Financial Skills Conference by Aflatoun International in 2023, although the certification has not been obtained yet.
