Rafael Ayala

Rafael Ayala is an accomplished engineering management professional with extensive experience in software development and project leadership across various industries. Currently serving as Director of Engineering Management at L3Harris Technologies since June 2021, Rafael previously held roles as Senior Software Manager at Wabtec Corporation, where responsibilities included leading product development teams for railroad traffic planning systems. Rafael's earlier experience at GE Transportation involved guiding teams through Agile transformations and overseeing software design for high-demand railroad dispatching systems. Additional roles include lead and senior engineering positions at companies such as Xyratex, Adaptec, EMC, Cereva Networks, Raytheon, and Siemens, showcasing a strong background in software engineering and system management.
