Margi Brown Ash is a seasoned freelance theatre maker with extensive experience in devising new works since arriving in Brisbane in 1989, contributing to notable projects such as "Songs of the Hut," "Ionalympus," and "The Knowing of Mary Poppins." In addition to theatre creation, Margi founded 4change coaching in 2002 to support artists and creative individuals through narrative and collaborative coaching. As a lecturer and tutor at multiple universities including Griffith University and Queensland University of Technology, Margi specializes in applied theatre, directing, and creative therapy disciplines. Margi's recent roles include performing in "Prize Fighter" at La Boite Theatre Company and contributing to community performances that explore themes of belonging. Margi holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Postmodern Therapeutic Theatre and Belonging from Griffith University, and has a background in arts therapy and counselling.
