Sonya Rachelle Wyrobek

Sonya Rachelle Wyrobek is a Certified Nurse Midwife with extensive experience in women's healthcare, currently serving at La Clinica de La Raza since March 2015 and at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center & Health Centers since April 2015. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive antenatal, postpartum, and intrapartum care, as well as conducting visits in Spanish. Sonya Wyrobek has developed a new role as the sole nurse midwife with inpatient privileges at Contra Costa, actively contributing to interdisciplinary team functions and managing high-risk patients. Additionally, as Program Director for the Volunteer Doula Program, Sonya Wyrobek orchestrates collaboration among various departments. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Coordinator at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health. Sonya Wyrobek holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Midwifery from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Brown University.
