Judy Canahuati

Judy Canahuati has extensive experience in nutrition and maternal child health, currently serving as Co-Chair of the Action, Networking and Advocacy Committee for La Leche League International and as a Nutrition Advisor for USAID, contributing to both Food for Peace and the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance since December 2017. Judy's prior roles include serving as a Maternal Child Health, Nutrition and HIV Advisor for the US Agency for International Development from 2004 to 2016, and as a Senior Technical Advisor at CARE. Educational background includes an MPhil in Anthropology from Columbia University and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania. Judy's professional journey reflects a strong dedication to health program development and advocacy in breastfeeding and maternal and child health.
