Meg Pugsley Jacobsen

Meg Pugsley Jacobsen currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources at La Mesa-Spring Valley School District, with a career spanning various leadership roles, including Executive Director of Educational Services and Executive Director of Innovation and Engagement. As the lead learner at Spring Valley Academy, an IBMYP Candidate School, Meg oversees the educational experience for students in grades 4-8. Previously, Meg held principal positions in middle schools designated as International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme World Schools, actively engaging with diverse student populations and fostering a collaborative culture to promote student success. Meg’s educational credentials include a Doctor of Education in Leadership from UC San Diego, a Master of Education from California State University - San Marcos, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology from UC San Diego.
