Jim Spears

Jim Spears is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at LA Semiconductor since January 2022. With a solid background in various HR roles, Jim previously held similar positions at HEALTH WEST, INC. and Applied Science Fiction, Inc., as well as serving as an HR Consultant at Idaho State University. Jim's career includes significant tenure as a Senior Human Resources Manager at both Polycom and The Scooter Store, showcasing expertise in employee relations, compliance, and onboarding. Jim began the journey in human resources at SAS, managing strategic HR functions for over 1,000 employees. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
