Laila Khalil

Laila Khalil has a diverse work experience in the financial and product management industry. Laila is currently the Head of Product at La Trobe Financial since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Lead at MYOB from December 2021 to December 2022. Laila also held various roles at Coles from August 2018 to December 2021, including the position of Senior Product Manager for payment services, where they led a team in delivering major projects and played a key role in the launch of flyPAY, a digital payment and loyalty platform. Before Coles, they worked at ANZ from August 2014 to August 2018, where they held roles such as Product Manager for Deposits and Payments and Portfolio & Marketing Manager for Credit Cards, focusing on product development, customer experience, and digital innovation. Laila also gained experience at GE Capital as a Senior Fraud Analyst in the Consumer Finance division from February 2008 to March 2009.

Laila Khalil's education history includes a Master's degree in Finance from RMIT University, an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology from RMIT University, and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mathematics, also from RMIT University. Laila also obtained a Diploma in Project Management from UXC Consulting. In addition to their formal education, Laila has obtained several certifications including the Executive Ready Program from Women & Leadership Australia (WLA), AgilePM® Foundation from APMG International, and AgilePM® Practitioner from APMG International.
