Maria Vargas

Maria Vargas, CPA, currently serves as the Country/Plant Controller for La-Z-Boy Mexico, a role held since 2015. Prior experience includes positions such as Senior Finance Manager at BT Global Services (2011-2014), Regional Controller at Elliott Company (2009-2010), and Latin America Group Regional Controller at MWH (2007-2009). From 2004 to 2007, Maria was the Controller for a start-up medical management company, and earlier, from 1996 to 2003, held various finance management roles at Texas Instruments. Maria holds a BA in Accounting and Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and an MBA in Finance and Computer Science from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
