David Walker

David Walker has a diverse work experience in the financial and sales industries. David is currently the Head of Sales at Lab49 since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Banking and Financial Services Industry Leader at Tech Mahindra from August 2021 to January 2023. David also held the position of AGM- Banking & Capital Markets at DXC Technology from May 2019 to August 2021. Before that, David worked at Macquarie Group as an Associate Director in the Macquarie Banking and Financial Services Division from October 2015 to March 2019, and as an Associate Director in the Macquarie Private Bank from December 2012 to October 2015. David served as a Private Client Director at National Australia Bank from October 2011 to December 2012, and as a Private Client Manager from an unspecified date in 2009 to September 2011. David started their career at NatWest Group as a Senior Business Banker from November 2005 to September 2007, and later as a Private Banker. David also worked as a Corporate Sales Manager at XLN | for small business from December 2004 to July 2005.

David Walker has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology & Sociology from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. In 2007 to 2008, they pursued a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute, specializing in Wealth Advice, Pensions, Investment services & Insurance. In 2011 to 2012, David completed a Diploma in Financial Planning focused on Risk, Investment, Superannuation, and Life Insurance from Kaplan Professional. Additionally, they acquired two certifications: Six Sigma: White Belt from LinkedIn in October 2022 and Cybersecurity Foundations from LinkedIn in August 2022.
