Kuncheng Song

Kuncheng Song is a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Labcorp since June 2022, with a robust academic and research background in bioinformatics and biostatistics. Previously, Kuncheng served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, where responsibilities included developing grading procedures for undergraduate courses, conducting machine learning analyses on microbiome data, and lecturing on microbiome data and compositional data analysis. Prior experience includes roles as a Biostatistician at TRIM-EDICINE, INC. and Massachusetts General Hospital, where statistical modeling and data analysis were central tasks. Kuncheng Song holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from North Carolina State University, a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Nutrition Science from Syracuse University.
