Ian Riley

As Labman's technical director, Ian is responsible for managing the specification, design, build, compliance and support of Labman's automated laboratory systems and instrumentations. Ian is also responsible for Labman’s direction as a company day-to-day; including HR, project guidance and key customer accounts and sales. With a MEng in Mechatronics from Leeds University, Ian is experienced in instrumentation design and manufacture in both the laboratory and medical device field and is responsible for delivering products in line with EU directives with a detailed knowledge of the machinery, EMC, low voltage, medical device and IVDD directives.
