Zacarias Benta

Zacarias Benta is an experienced Information Technology Engineer currently working at the Laboratório de Instrumentação e Física Experimental de Partículas since March 2022. Previously, Zacarias served as a Linux System Administrator and Software Developer at INCD - Infraestrutura Nacional de Computação Distribuída from December 2018 to February 2022. Zacarias has a background in information security management through implementation of ISO 27001/27002 during time at Leoni from April 2012 to December 2018. Additional roles include Linux Sysadmin positions at Camilo Pinto S.A. and Eufinity Solutions, a professor at Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave, and R&D work in IPTV technologies at Viaquanta. Zacarias holds a Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Universidade do Minho, as well as degrees in Information Systems and IT, complemented by a foundation in informatics from high school.
