Katie Barglind

Katie Barglind serves as the Director of Marketing and Business Development at the Laborers-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust (LECET) since February 2019, focusing on maximizing marketing opportunities to increase contractor working hours and job creation. Previously, as a Market Share and Communications Specialist, Barglind developed strategies to enhance market share for LIUNA-signatory contractors in Michigan. Prior experience includes a role as Field Coordinator/Zone Director at the Upper Peninsula Regional Labor Federation, AFL CIO, where responsibilities included managing legislative and electoral campaigns and creating outreach materials. Barglind completed a Doctor of Law (JD) at the University of Wisconsin Law School and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from St. Norbert College. Additionally, a brief internship at the U.S. Department of State involved participation in senior-level meetings.
