Petro Julkunen

Petro Julkunen is a Chief Physicist at Kuopio University Hospital, leading medical physicist training and research, particularly in Clinical Neurophysiology. With a strong academic background, Petro holds a Ph.D. in Medical Physics and serves as a Professor at the University of Eastern Finland, directing Neuromodulation and Biophysics of Bone and Cartilage research groups. Additionally, Petro is involved in various professional roles including Chairman of the Board at Sataman Sydän, Auditor at Labquality, and Vice Chairman of the Advisory Committee in Radiation Safety at STUK. Petro has founded multiple companies specializing in radiation protection and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Cyber Security at the University of Jyväskylä.
