Rafael Ribeiro

Rafael Ribeiro has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Rafael started their career as an intern at Prime Informática, where they worked as a Mainframe Application Developer. Later, they joined Itaú Unibanco as a Junior Software Engineer, where they worked on projects related to payments systems and collaborated with external partners such as MasterCard, Visa, and China UnionPay. During this time, they also contributed to the development of a solution for enabling cash withdrawal for customers abroad during the 2014 World Cup. Rafael then advanced to the position of Senior Software Engineer at Itaú Unibanco, where they worked on projects like Personal Financial Management and the Customer MDM Team. In these roles, they collaborated with architects and engineers to design and build solutions that improved customer experiences and centralized customer data in the system. Currently, Rafael is working at LabTwin as a Senior Backend Engineer, taking on responsibilities related to the software architecture, security, monitoring, internal tools, and cloud infrastructure, aiming to develop the first voice-powered lab assistant for scientists.

Rafael Ribeiro has a diverse education history. Rafael obtained a Pós Graduação degree in Gestão de Sistemas de Informação from Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo - IFSP, which they completed from 2016 to 2018. Prior to this, from 2010 to 2014, they pursued a degree in Tecnólogo in Systems Analysis and Development from the same institution, IFSP. Before joining IFSP, they attended Anhanguera Educacional from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Tecnólogo degree in Tecnologia em Redes de Computadores.

In addition to their formal education, Rafael has also obtained various certifications. Rafael completed the course "Produtividade e Gestão do Tempo" at Escola Conquer in 2022. In 2016, they obtained "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" certification from Coursera. Moreover, they have achieved multiple certifications related to Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Certified Developer – Associate in 2021, AWS SysOps Administrator - Associate in 2021, AWS Cloud Practitioner in 2020, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in 2020. Rafael also holds the "HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate" certification from HashiCorp, which they obtained in 2020. Lastly, they acquired the "Certificação ICS .NET Web Developer Advanced C#." certification from Impacta Tecnologia in 2011.
