Francis Anderson

Francis Anderson has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Francis is currently working as the Head of Technical Sales Specialists, Global Healthcare at LabVantage Solutions, Inc. Francis joined the company in 2020 and also holds the role of Technical Sales Specialist & Solutions Engineer. Prior to this, Francis worked as a Business Analyst at Eurofins from 2018 to 2020.

Before Eurofins, Francis worked at Birmingham Women's Hospital as an IT Manager for Pathology from 2014 to 2017. Francis was responsible for managing the information systems of the Pathology labs and ensuring compliance with UKAS ISO 15189 and MHRA. Additionally, they served as a Project Manager at the hospital from 2013 to 2014, where they led a project to transform maternity services using Electronic Patient Records.

Earlier in their career, Francis worked at Jaguar Land Rover as a Project Manager in 2013, leading the integration of legacy applications to new SAP technology. Francis also worked as a Senior Pathology IT Consultant at King Abdullah Medical City - Makkah in 2012.

From 2009 to 2012, Francis worked as a Pathology IT Consultant at University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust. Francis implemented various automated systems and solutions to improve lab processes and efficiency.

Francis spent a significant part of their career at British Airways from 1997 to 2009. Francis held multiple roles, including IT Consultant and Technical Consultant & Programmer/Analyst. Francis contributed to various projects, such as improving the software distribution system and upgrading legacy systems.

Francis Anderson obtained a MSc in Information Systems and Business Analysis from Aston University from the years 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they received a BSc(hons) in Computer Studies from Nottingham Trent University from 1995 to 1997. In addition, they also completed a HND in Software Engineering from the University of Portsmouth from 1993 to 1995.
