Mark Simon

Mark Simon has several years of work experience in the field of software engineering. Mark currently works as a Software Engineer at Labviva starting from November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Marvin as a Software Engineer, where they developed Node.js backend APIs using Express.js middleware and Prisma ORM to connect to MySQL or SQLite databases. Mark also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Marvin.

Before their time at Marvin, Mark served as a CS341 Teaching Assistant at the Department of Computer Science- University of Massachusetts Boston. In this role, they taught lab sessions to junior computer science students, focusing on hardware basics and the Arduino UNO Microcomputer.

Mark also has experience working as a UNIX Student Operator at the University of Massachusetts Boston. In this position, they provided customer service and maintained network systems and software solutions.

Mark Simon completed their Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from North Shore Community College in 2014. Mark then went on to pursue their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at UMass Boston, which they completed in 2020.
