Anita Polturak

Anita Polturak, MBA, currently serves as the FCSS Manager at Lac La Biche County since January 2020, overseeing Family & Community Support Services which offers preventive human services across various demographics. In addition, Anita has been a Senior Consultant at K Polturak Management & Consulting Inc. since February 2013, focusing on project and funding research, grant writing, and data collection. Previously, Anita was the Team Lead for the Lac La Biche & Area Family Violence Program from May 2018 to January 2020, where responsibilities included coordinating programs aimed at supporting individuals in building healthier relationships. Prior to that, Anita managed multiple service and grant programs as the Manager of FCSS & Community Development at Lac La Biche County from May 2008 to February 2016 and served as FCSS Coordinator at the Town of Lac La Biche from November 2001 to May 2006. Anita holds an MBA in Community Economic Development from Cape Breton University and completed the Community of Leaders Program at the Banff Centre for Management.
