Gerald McKenzie

Gerald McKenzie has extensive experience in both leadership and operational roles within the mining and indigenous governance sectors. As a Band Councillor for the Lac La Ronge Indian Band since April 2017, Gerald contributes to community decision-making and leadership. Prior to this, Gerald worked at Cameco Corporation from May 2002 to August 2016, where responsibilities included serving as Mill Operations General Foreman, overseeing production activities, and as Mill Foreman, managing shift operators and ensuring production targets were met. Gerald's career also includes experience as a Control Room Operator at Kumtor from September 1997 to July 1999, focusing on the safe operation of mill circuits. Educational background includes attendance at Carlton High School and Northlands College in La Ronge, SK.
