Thalia Buendia has a diverse work experience in supply chain and operations management. Thalia is currently serving as the Director of Dairy Procurement and Production Planning at Lactalis Canada since 2019. Before that, they worked at Agropur as the Director of Supply Management for 7 years. Thalia also has experience as a Process Improvement Manager at Dubo Électrique Ltée, where they focused on implementing software solutions and streamlining purchasing practices. Thalia worked as an Industrial Engineer at Kinio SA, where they were responsible for selecting and implementing an ERP system, improving product control procedures, and setting up production line standards. In addition, Thalia worked as an Inventory Manager/Buyer and Production Planner/Scheduler at Heartland Farms, where they effectively managed inventory and optimized the ordering process. Thalia began their career as an Operations Coordinator at Caffe D'Amore, where they handled shipping, production, and quality control procedures.

Thalia Buendia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2002. Thalia later pursued a Master's degree in Manufacturing Management at McGill University from 2009 to 2010.
