Al Yau

Al Yau has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Al currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Ladder since October 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at Integral Development Corporation from 2010 to 2022. Al also worked as a Director at 3i Group from 2004 to 2009. Before that, they co-founded Guru Worldwide / Guru.com and served as the Co-founder, VP Product Management, and VP Finance & Strategy from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they held positions at Sun Microsystems and PeopleSoft in 1998, McCown De Leeuw & Co from 1995 to 1997, and Goldman Sachs & Co. as a Financial Analyst from 1993 to 1995. Al started their career as a Lieutenant, Infantry in the US Army from 1991 to 1992.

Al Yau attended Stanford University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Al later pursued their Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School between 1997 and 1999.
