Anja Høj

Anja Hajdukovic is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in environmental sciences, climate change research, and scientific communication. Currently serving as a member of The Explorers Club and a research assistant at Université de Genève, Anja leads a project focused on the effects of heatwaves on lake ecosystems. Previous roles include scientific coordinator at the Office fédéral de l'environnement OFEV, where responsibilities encompassed developing communication strategies, climate change risk management guidelines, and facilitating key meetings. Anja's background also features positions as a speaker for the Geneva Climathon, scientific project officer at Fondation Pacifique, and administrative clerk during the Covid-19 crisis response. Anja holds a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences from the University of Geneva, complemented by diverse international experiences and educational backgrounds in both environmental sciences and international relations.
