Ryan Wells has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Ryan started their career in 2001 as an Assistant Manager of Operations at Transamerica, where they worked with PENCO, Inc. to provide 401(k) recordkeeping and administrative services. Ryan then moved on to UNIFI Companies in 2007, where they became the Manager of the Client Services Team, responsible for managing plan sponsor and financial representative relationships and handling participant inquiries. In 2013, they joined Lafayette Life Insurance Company as the Manager of Retirement Services, specializing in retirement plan solutions for small businesses. Ryan later transitioned to the role of Director of Retirement Services Operations in 2020.
Ryan Wells attended Northern Kentucky University from 1997 to 2000, where they pursued a B.O.S. degree with a major in Marketing and a minor in Business Administration. In terms of additional certifications, Ryan obtained the Qualified 401(K) Administrator (QKA) certification from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries in December 2003. Ryan then earned the Fellow of Life Management Institute (FLMI) certification from LOMA in December 2007. In December 2010, Ryan obtained the Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) certification from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. Lastly, they obtained the Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) certification from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries in August 2016.
