Susan Golden

Susan Golden is the current Managing Director and Head of Loan Operations at Lafayette Square. Prior to their current position, Golden was with Cerberus Capital Management for just under twenty years, where they were the Director of Finance and Operations. Golden was the first hire made by the three founding Managing Directors of Dymas Capital Management, a startup lending business formed within Cerberus. In their role, they worked on all aspects of the startup, including legal formation, loan accounting, financial reporting, cash management, CLO reporting, trustee accounting, IT Infrastructure, human resource management, expense accounting, portfolio/credit monitoring; credit, legal and operation files structure, suite management, data retention policies, website implementation and creation of marketing materials.

Before their time with Dymas Capital Management and Cerberus Capital Management, Golden was with GE Capital for about a year as their VP of Operations and Integration Leader for Heller Financial Acquisition. In this role, Golden was responsible for leading the merging of loan and finance operations into the Center of Excellence as well as being the Crisis Manager and Change Leader. Prior to GE Capital, Golden spent just over ten years at Heller Financial where they held the title of Operations & Finance.

Susan Golden received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from DePaul University. Susan then pursued pre-pharmacy studies at the University of Illinois Chicago.

They work with Andy Phelps - Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets, Joseph Johnson - Managing Director, Head of Liabilities, and Ryan Ochs - Managing Director, Staffer LS Credit. Susan Golden reports to Phil Daniele, Chief of Risk Officer C-Suite.
